Zoho has introduced a slew of new AI-powered features and upgrades on its note-taking application called Zoho Notebook.
These AI-powered features can enable users to retrieve contextual answers from their personal notes, generate insights, convert spoken content into notes, create mind maps, and more. The newly unveiled AI features in Zoho Notebook are powered by Zoho’s in-house AI stack, Zia. They have been designed to streamline how teams capture, organise, and retrieve information, the cloud-based enterprise software firm said in a press note on Tuesday, November 4.
Additionally, the free-to-use student version of Zoho Notebook has also been integrated with AI features.

“These developments reflect Zoho’s ongoing focus on building productivity tools that genuinely understand how modern teams work. Rather than forcing users to adapt to rigid software structures, Zoho Notebook moulds itself around natural workflows while providing intelligent assistance that amplifies human capability,” the Chennai-based multinational company said.
In recent days, Zoho has ramped up efforts to ship new AI tools and features as it looks to capitalise on its recent surge in popularity in India, largely driven by the central government’s latest campaign to promote the use of ‘Swadeshi’ or ‘Made-in-India’ digital products and services amid rising tariff tensions with the United States.
Last month, the company rolled out a handful of new agentic AI features that have been embedded in its enterprise products and services, including Zoho Mail, Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit, and more.
Zoho Notebook is designed as a central information hub for organisations, enabling users to create and manage documents across Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, and Zoho Mail without needing to switch out user context. The note-taking app is offered to users as part of the Zoho One Premium subscription which starts at Rs 3,500 per user per month billed annually.Story continues below this ad
It is also available as a standalone app for Android, iOS, and web users. The Notebook for Business subscription, which offers enhanced team productivity and collaboration, is priced at Rs 333.25 per user per month billed annually. Students can sign up to Zoho Notebook for free using their educational (.edu) email IDs in the sign up page.

– Ask with My Content: Users can ask questions specific to their personal notes.– Ask Anything: This feature can be used to generate insights on any topic.Meeting Notes: Users can convert spoken content into timestamped written notes with speaker identification and summaries.– Mind Map Generation: This feature can convert lengthy documents into clear, hierarchical mind maps.– Smart Note Creation: Allows users to create structured content instantly, such as task checklists, formatted tables, reusable templates, and tagged notes.– Writing Enhancement: This feature can be used to refine content, generate summaries, correct grammar, adjust tone, etc.– Tone and Voice Customisation: This feature lets users create audience-specific content from formal reports and casual memos. The tone can also be adjusted to sound more professional, friendly, direct, or confident.– Multilingual Voice Search and Translation: This feature enables users to locate specific information through voice commands and convert content into different languages.
Zoho Notebook currently supports 80 global languages, including eight Indian languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Oriya, and Sanskrit.
The company further said it is working to integrate Zoho Voice and Zoho CRM in order to let users access AI-generated call transcriptions and meeting or sales notes from directly within their CRM records.
